I had an interesting stay overall. The Izaak Walton Inn is beautifully decorated, reflecting the Great Northern Railway theme, and the rooms were cozy. However, the dinner options left much to be desired, with both meals I tried being lackluster. The staff were pleasant and the breakfasts were enjoyable, though I'd love to see a fuller breakfast menu. There were also some challenges with amenities that were out of order, but the atmosphere made up for it.

Nestled in the beautiful mountains near Glacier, the location is stunning, though I had some trouble navigating the area both on arrival and when walking back from my cabin in the dark.
Dining

Breakfast was nice, but the dinner options were mediocre. I'd recommend eating elsewhere for evenings.

While the new sauna and lobby renovations are great, several amenities, like the hot tub, were not operational during my visit, which was disappointing.

I found my stay at Loge Glacier National Park to be quite the experience. The beautiful surroundings and unique accommodations in a caboose were enjoyable, though I struggled with limited connectivity during my visit. The restaurant served delicious meals, but it comes at a higher price, which was something to consider. Overall, I appreciated the proximity to outdoor activities and the scenic location.

The location in the mountains was stunning, with easy access to trails right out the back door. However, the drive into the park can be winding and lengthy, which might take away some of the convenience.

My stay at the Inn was unique and refreshing, surrounded by stunning mountain views and the charming sounds of passing trains. The rustic lodge ambiance really brought out the charm of the place, though there were some small issues like the hot tub not being operational during my visit. Overall, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making my experience enjoyable despite a few hiccups.

The location was amazing, right next to the beautiful trails and immersed in the mountainous beauty of the area. It truly felt like a hidden gem within Glacier National Park, easily accessible yet so very remote.

Dining at the restaurant was good, although it could get expensive if you're staying for multiple days. I enjoyed the meals I had, but a wider breakfast menu would've been nice for relaxing mornings.

Facilities like the outdoor hot tub and game room were wonderful additions, enhancing the overall experience. However, it was disappointing that the hot tub was not operational during my stay.

My stay at the Izaac Walton Inn was a cozy blend of nostalgia and adventure. The inn itself has a charming, historic vibe, though the nearby trains can be a bit loud at night. Dining was the highlight for me, especially the breakfast options, while the service had its ups and downs, especially regarding the restaurant's vegetarian offerings.

Rooms

The staff was generally friendly and accommodating, but my experience had mixed moments. While there was some helpfulness regarding requests like kitchen items, there were also lapses in attention at times, particularly in the restaurant.

The facilities offered cozy communal spaces like a lobby and bar, and I appreciated the outdoor hot tub and sauna, although the latter had some operational quirks. Overall, it was just what I expected for a rustic retreat.

My stay at Loge Glacier National Park was a mixed bag. The rustic charm of the lodge was appealing, and the outdoor hot tub was a nice touch for relaxation. However, there were some issues with heating in my room, and I struggled to find the hotel due to unclear signage. Overall, it had its ups and downs but was still a unique experience.

Rooms

The room carried a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of the 1930s, which I appreciated. However, it was quite basic and lacked some modern amenities like a reliable heating system.

The dining options were good, although I found the prices a bit steep if you plan on eating there every day. It was nice to have a restaurant on-site, considering the remote location.
